Detention Periods Considered:

1.For Sumps at Headworks---2.5 Hours(150 Minutes)

2.For Sumps at IPS-4 Hours(240 Minutes)

3.For Balancing Reservoirs-30 Minutes

4.For Service reservoirs-50% of daily demand.

Sump Location:Babuldhole

Serves few no of  habitations of having population(2011)-114115

From above sumps are designed for prospective population hence

2033 Population-=114115*(1.008^22)=135979.813=135980

Prespective Demand in LPM=135980*(100)/(22*60)=10301.51=10302(22 Hours design)

Sump detention period=4 hours=240 Minutes(IPS)

Sump capacity required=240*10302=2472480=2473 KL

Hence provide=2500 KL
